It is estimated that over 2 million people in the UK work from home - and a further 8 million opt to spend at least part of their working week outside of the office. Some will be employed by large companies, but the majority are expected to be self-employed sole traders.

Whilst working from home may seem like a very attractive way to earn a living, it's important not to see it as an easy option. There are many considerations to take into account before setting up at home: personal, social, physical and financial.
