Miniature Rose Bushes

Miniature roses are tiny versions of large (hybrid tea) and cluster-flowered (floribunda) bush roses. They may be pruned minimally by simply removing dead, damaged and twiggy growth and by cutting back any over-vigorous shoots that spoil the shape of the plant.

Alternatively, they may be treated as small versions of hybrid tea or floribunda bushes. All but the strongest shoots should be removed completely, and the remaining stems cut back by a half. This will encourage healthy new growth and a well-balanced shape.
