Transferring an ISA

You are allowed to transfer control of any one of your ISAs to another ISA manager at any time. You should be able to arrange the transfer simply by asking your new ISA manager to arrange the transfer for you.

Your existing ISA manager cannot stop you transferring your ISA to another manager, however they may require you to pay a transfer charge, or make you sell any existing ISA investments and transfer the value of the ISA as cash. These sorts of charges and conditions will be outlined in the terms and conditions of any ISA you purchase.

If you want to transfer your ISA you must transfer it between two ISA managers - you cannot transfer your ISA by closing it and then re-opening it with a new ISA manager.
